Just a Second!
I have come across a situation recently at my work place. As I entered the parking area and was trying to park my vehicle, I saw this car parked in the most unexpected way. I had mixed emotions ranging from anger to laughter to confusion to wonder to what not! How in this world could that person park the car right in the center of both the parking slots?
All it takes is "Just a Second" to evaluate our actions.
If this person would have taken just one second to check if the car was parked properly, it certainly would have benefitted some other person who would be in a hurry, trying to find the parking slot. Is it that diffiult? Certainly not. It just reflects the mindset, One can be in a hurry for a plethora of reasons, but your hurriness might eat up the precious time of others.
We have to understand that we are not the only ones living on this planet. There are so many others around us, that is the reason we have to be MINDFUL in our actions. A small self-correction and self-assessment might make others' life a bit easier. Our actions have chain-reactions. It is upto each individual whether to create more peace or generate more anxiety.
Take time and make small corrections. It helps, everyone! World will not turn upside down if you don't immediately attend a call or check a notification on the mobile or if you don't see the never ending reels on instagram or the endless debates on X. There is certainly time for those, but not at the places where you have to be MINDFUL.
Just a Second!
